Arizona Horse Properties gives 5 Tips for your Horseback Riding Trip in Prescott.

Arizona Horse Properties gives 5 tips for your horseback riding trip in prescott.
Horseback riding in Prescott is a very popular way to spend a day.  Whether it be a trail meandering through the woods…or one that goes around one of the beautiful lakes…there are plenty to take advantage of.  If your new to town, the best bet is to schedule a horseback riding trip. These usually include guides and a preset trail so you won’t get lost.  Arizona Horse Properties gives 5 tips for your horseback riding trip in Prescott:

1.    RELAX – You’re ready to ride!  Let’s go!  Oh wait, the guides aren’t quite ready yet.  What should I do while I’m waiting?  Take a deep breath…enjoy the horses…look at the beauty of nature...think of what it would have been like in the 1800’s.  A horseback riding trip is meant to be fun and relaxing.  Put your smart phone away (unless taking pictures) and enjoy!

2.    THE EARLIER THE BETTER – Based on reviews and stories it is confirmed that your best bet is to schedule an early tour.  Your guides are awesome, informative, entertaining and love what they do. But as with everyone, people can get tired towards the end of the day.  Not to mention the horses.

3.    WATER, WATER, WATER - Drink a lot of water.  Best practice would be to bring your own supply just in case.  The Arizona sun is hot, so don’t think because the temperature says 75, that it won’t be warm in the direct sunlight.

4.    BE PREPARED FOR PAPERWORK - The length of your trip that you reserve usually includes time for signing waivers and introductions. If you sign up for 3 hour trip, expect to ride closer to 2 hours. Your guides will also need to go over safety tips.  They will also get to know you, your riding abilities and expectations for the trip.

5.    TIP - If you've enjoyed your guided horseback riding trip, show it. The trip guides certainly do this for the love of sharing the experience with others and not to get rich. A monetary thank you for their time, experience, hard work and information is very much appreciated.
